Hi Carolyn, we are part of the New Zealand family. I am John (Alex) Brooks is Annie Quiggs son. Daniel (Snr) was Annie's brother, dates we have for him 1899-1978.
Your father used to come and stay in Tonduff when he was a school boy, and later when he was in the RAF, he also made a trip to New Zealand accompanied by my younger sister Roberta in 1971 and stayed with me.
We have a family tree and if you would like further info, let us know. Re your enquiry re Robert Quigg, he lived near my husband, who knew him. He was a V.C. in WW1, but is not a relative as far as we know.
