There doesn't seem to be a direct connection but there may be a connection through brothers or cousins. My ancestors, Henry and Margaret Quigg had at least four children, some of whom immigrated to the United States. Three were James B. (b. 1833), Ann (b. 1857) and Mary. There was at least one other son who was the father of Frank Quigg
James B. settled in Indiana and married there.
Ann married John Cassedy in Ireland and they settled in Nebraska.
Frank Quigg was living in Nebraska when Ann died but there is no mention of his father in her obituary. .

I'm descended from James B.
