I have great new, after going in the summer down to Casas Grandes , Chihuahua to go see some family, I went to the old Town and with great advice from the catholic Priest we were able to locate the exact marriage date of Jose Alejandro Quevedo, and Maria Josefa Cardenas, who were married on the 1 August 1784 in Durango, Durango. And so with that great finding i will soon be able to go back another generation :) my dead end has come to an end :) This is pertaining to the Quevedos in Northern Mexico, mostly Chihuahua.
