Annemarie and Erin:
My grandfather Eduardo was born either in Hurley NM or in Casas Grandes, Chihuahua in 1903. His father was Melchor Quevedo from Chihuahua or Jose Rito Quevedo from Chihuahua. A relative of mine has at least two political histories of Quevedos in Chihuahua, though they may be of limited use (lots of "we build all this great stuff" type of self serving pr). I have having books rebound and then copied over the next few months. The Quevedo family was very powerful in Chihuahua.
I am in the process of organizing my data. I have bought Family Tree Maker 10 and then registered on line. We should all chat about this. The first step is to figure out if we are related. Where do you all live? I am in California.
