Early, early Quesnels in Illinois, Missouri

In my last post I discussed and posed some questions regarding Quesnels in Missouri/Illinois in the early 1700's. I discussed the information regarding Marie-Louise Quesnel born in Kaskaskia, Ill in 1725, and her parents, Raymond and ?? who died in the area in the 1750's. I have searched further regarding Kaskaskia, Ill and found this baptism record for Nov. 20 1773 in Kaskaskia for twins Marie-Madeleine and Celeste Therese Carrier(e), daughters of Antoine Carrier(e) and Marie Madeliene quensnel (quesnel). Check out the site: http://www.randolphcountyillinois.net/sub22.htm
This is almost certainly Marie-Madeleine Quesnel, daughter of Olivier and Catherine Prudhomme, baptized in Lachine on May 17, 1701 and married to Antoine Carriere in Lachine on April 20, 1718. Assuming this is indeed the same couple, it lends some credence to my working theory that Marie-Madeleine's brother Raymond lived here for at least 25 years, and died at or near Kaskaskia. Any further information that refutes or substantiates this idea would be appreciated.

Thanks, Matt
