I posted the forum question on Lawson Eli Quesinberry and Issac Henry Quesinberry, Carolyn Akers kindly provided the following information; if any other family member has further information we would like to hear from you as well:

MY GRANDMOTHER'S BROTHER, ISSAC QUESINBERRY WAS MARRIED ONLY ONE TIME. TO CLARA CROSBY IN SC. HE IS BURIED TO THE RIGHT HAND OF HIS MOTHER, MARTHA ANN COFFEE QUESINBERRY AND HIS FATHER, LAWSON ELI QUESINBERRY, AT THE FENCE LINE ON THE FAR LEFT SIDE AS YOU ENTER JOHNSON CEM. MY GRANDMOTHER'S UNCLE, ISSAC QUESINBERRY, LAWSON ELI QUESINBERRY'S BROTHER, WAS MARRIED ONE TIME AND IS BURIED BESIDE HIS ONLY WIFE DIRECTLY AHEAD ON THE RIGHT AS YOU ENTER THE CEM. BOTH ISSAC'S ARE BURIED AT MOREHEAD, ROWAN CO., KY'S JOHNSON CEM. OUT FLEMINGBURG ROAD. I HAVE BEEN TAKING PART IN PUTTING FLOWERS ON ALL THE QUESINBERRYS GRAVES IN JOHNSON CEM., SINCE I WAS A VERY YOUNG CHILD ALONG WITH MY GRANDMOTHER AND MOTHER. SINCE THEIR PASSING, I HAVE CONTINUED TO SEE THERE ARE FLOWERS PLACED ON ALL THEIR GRAVES EACH YEAR.

Thank you for your fast response. I have some difficulty reading all the CAPs, but got the gist of what you had to say. When my father Jack Quesinberry and I visited Morehead Kentucky in the 1970's-we went to the courthouse records department for daddy to visit his father's grave. They researched his father's records and gave us a location out in the country on the side of a hill and directed us to follow some rural signage. Needless to say, my father was really disappointed as they said there was no marker and we never did find it. The courthouse lady was also a Quesinberry. Do you have an address to Johnson Cemetery? And, since you are there routinely, do you also know who administers the records for the cemetery?
Additionally, while I hate to bother you with more questions, do you know if your grandmother's uncle has had temple work done and if he had six children?
Also, did Lawson Eli have 21 children? If so, do you know their names or have a family tree registered on here already?
By the way, thank you for putting flowers on the family tombstones all these years, had the courthouse there directed us appropriately when we drove from Washington DC to Morehead to find grandpa's grave we may have gotten to place flowers ourselves.
And, had we been contacted by grandpas siblings family members - perhaps we would have known our cousins there. Clara Crosby spent her remaining years impoverished after grandpa went to Morehead and died just before their relocation to Ohio. They had sold all their belongings to move to Ohio and grandpa was heading to Morehead to collect his inheritance. I understand the remaining family believed grandpa to be less than successful and instead of an inheritance he died of a heart attack. My father Jack and I believe Uncle Buddy never got to see their daddy's grave as we were never able to locate it.
Do you know the local probate and/or records officer for the courthouse there? And, have historical records underwent a fire or anything as such since 1900?
Your assistance is appreciated. Glad you were there to tend the history we missed.
