Still looking for information on James Patrick Queening (Queenan) who emigrated to the NY area about 1892-4 leaving his large family behind in the Leeds, Yorkshire area.
He was born in Derby England in 1848 to James Patrick Queenan and Mary Howard. James Patrick is believed to be born in Ireland about 1815, died at sea about 1857.
Mary remarried to Abraham Hogg, continuing to live in Derby.
Many descendents of Patrick are now living in the US, England and Canada.
More information greatly appreciated.
