I've definitely learned that Jane was from Sligo. Her death card ( given out at the church)lists that as her birthplace. I have a birthdate of Dec. 15, 1847. The only Jane is find in the immigration records is listed at Jane Quinnane age 22 in 1868. I don't know if this is our ancestor or not.
I believe Jane and her husband William followed old Irish naming pattern and so I am looking for information about a John Queenan, possibly married to a Margaret or Elizabeth and married in the 1830s. Does any of this sound familiar?
