Hi Patrick, My great grand-father, Michael Quinan was born 29 Sep 1827 in County Sligo, Ireland. He arrived in NYS about 1857. Could have married in Phoenix, Oswego Co., NY Ann Dwyer, then they located in Croton Falls, Westchester Co., NY. He died in Croton Falls, NY. Michael Quinan name before relatives told him it was spelled wrong was Michael Queenan. Relatives lived in Boston, MA and my grandmother would visit with them. Michael named his children:
John H., James H., Jerod, Sarah, Michael Jr., Thomas F., William H., Mary Ann, Margaret E. Jerod, Sarah, Michael Jr., died in infancy. Hope this helps.
