Hi,Dave.I had problems with my computer. sorry took to long to reply.I read your post and I feel there is some similarities to our family. For one thing i noticed was the kelley family. My great grandmother is Catherine Killey. The last name is spelled differerent. My Dad said that it was pronounced Kill-lee . I've been researching my grandfathers heritage for so long.He was a great man and I should have paid attention to the family history. My father can't recall anything so I'am on my own with the info I grandfather was from Kirk -Michael. Ive tried to look up birth records no names match. This is what I know to be fact, mother Catherine killey, father philip quayle. grandfather was the oldest name frank, then emily, george, catherine, arthur, lena, sammy, bessy, walterand edith. My Dad say's alot went to canada as well.My grandfather came over to ellis island on feb 19,1911.and the man that signed in for him was his brother in law Mug Killey, seems like a lot in check. let me known. checke into the name maybe it changed.. hope to be related!! shera bird.
