Hello every one my name is Michael Perry, I have been researching my part of the Quattlebaum family that I have known about for over 40 years. My mother had this research done 40 yrs ago,I remember all the time I spent checking out the information. Unfortunately my mother passed away in Feb 1992 and the research that she had done was lost so I am starting it all again.

I am the 10th generation(if counted right)great grandson to Petter Quattlebaum and Anna Barbara von der Hutte. To make things a little bit shorter, here is my lineage from Wilhelm to Petter to Johannes/Mary McDuffy to Capt. John/Metee to Thomas/Hepsey to Georgiana Quattlebaum who married Reaves Veal Gantt to their daughter Sarah Gertrude Gantt who married Benjamin(Ben)Jacob Rodgers to their son John Allen Rodgers/Sally Newton to their son Thomas Carl Rogers(notice the dropping of the D in his name he is only one that dropped it)he married Hester(Hessie)Porter Stevens(she was adopted by W. Belton Stevens/Ellen Eunice Still),(Which I am still trying to find out who Hester's real parents are) they had Doris Carolyn Rogers/Cecil Daniel Arnold Perry and her brother my uncle Carl Campbell Rogers.

Doris Carolyn Rogers was married to(1)Floyd Anderson Baker had a son Larry Anderson Baker, divorced Baker 18 Dec 1950. married Cecil Daniel Arnold Perry (notice Arnold he is of Benidict lineage)09 Feb 1952,Had 2 sons Roger Cecil Perry and myself Michael Andrew Perry. Rogers'family makes the 11th generation(3of them 1dau and 2 boys) and their kids are the 12th,13th generation if your count Wilhelm in on all this.

I didn't want to try and give you guys to much info at 1 time so I will try over the weekend to get dates and rest of names in order for you to add to your trees.

Oh if anyone has any information on my grandmother Hester Stevens, some knew her as Hessie(Porter was birth name) and her brother Jessie Thomas Porter please let me know.

Oh and I have to say I am very proud of all the women that have got us this far especially after having any where from 5 to 19 children. You have made it possible to do this research and to be able to pass it on.

Have a Great and Positive Day.

Michael Perry

P.S. I look forward to hearing from any of you and hope to get back to South Carolina soon from Ft.Worth,Tx to visit some of the relatives there.
