"foreman" or perhaps "4 men" ?

Although "Quatre Homme(s)" is literally "4 men", is this the meaning of this surname ?

Might it be a mistaken literal translation from the English "fore-man" ?

I'm a little curious about how common this surname is, since there are none shown under the USA or Canada phone listings at all. I've never heard of it as a surname. Who can tell us more about it ??
