Dear John,
I am a descendant of William Quarry (1777-1852) and his wife Mary Learmont (1782-1848). My Grandparents and father worked the same farm in Guelph Township(named Couden Knowes by William). My family does not live far from their memorial stone in Guelph Township. My Grandmother had begun an extensive family tree many years ago that began with William's arrival in Canada. It appears that your great grandfather,Hugh Quarry and my great grandfather Ken Quarrie were brothers. Hugh's son Andrew married Margaret Dugan and they had 3 children, Andrew,Annie and Christina. Christina married William Colgan from Hamilton. My records get a little grey from here. Do you have any info before William and Mary. Please e-mail me at your convenience.
