I purchased Root Magic 5 that will accept Quaker dates in their program without hassle. Ancestry and FTM just don't seem to understand that Penn was settled by William Penn and Quakers. This means if you have any pre Revolutionary Penn ancestors there is a good chance they were Quaker...Quakers came here early to avoid religious persecution and settled in both the Carolinas, VA, DEL, ....I just don't understand why they won't adapt their programs to accomadate Quaker dates. I am just thankful Roots Magic which is so much easier to use has figured it out! Thank you for your help.
