Sandra. Thank you for your quick response. Are there more records available on this group of Sidwells from Redstone MM that you sent me? Such as birth records of the children on your Redstone list - that would mention who the parents are? You are correct - Hugh & Mary Hastings Sidwell left the Hopewell MM with their only child Charity in 1787. Hugh & Mary had married the year before in 1786 at Hopewell. (1759-1831) Hugh Sidwell's parents were Abraham Sidwell and Charity Harris. I'm hoping the family transferred from the Westland MM to the Redstone MM - and then had many more children - all of those that you mention on your Redstone list - including the youngest child - Hugh Sidwell. West Virginia marriage records indicate that Charity Sidwell married William Hartley in 1805, and her sister Phoebe's 1873 WV death certificate lists Hugh Sidwell as her father. Do you know where can I get more detail on their Redstone records? Thanks again. Dana Eugene Boyd.
