I checked the HISTORY OF CHESTER COUNTY and answered my own questions! I see that James and his brother Wm were the sons of Richard and Mary Brown of PUDINGTon. James married in NJ, where he at first lived. His male children are James, Wm, Jeremiah, Clayton, and David. The only child listed for brother Wm was a Joseph, although there may be others, for he married 4 times.
