Sandra Ferguson: Thank you; yes these are my Hoge family.I had John Hoge (b: 29 Jul 1754) and marriage to Mary Jenkins (b: 17 Feb 1756) and their Hopewell MM records including birth of first three children - William (1779), Johnathon (1782), and Jacob (1785).Between 1785 amd 1790, the family moved to Redstone Twsp of Fayette Co, PA, which is where Sarah (b: 17 Oct 1790) and John (b:06 Sep 1793) were born. This last child John is my GGGrandfather. He married Mary Wortman in Uniontown about 1811, and likely became separated from the church for marrying outside the faith.Together, they had ten children during 1814-1836 in Fayette Co, and apparently lived there in 1820 and 1830 census. Cannot find them in 1840 ceensus. In 1850 census, they had moved to Muskingum Co, OH with four youngest children.I am interested in any additional information about these children - my GGrandfather Mark Crawford was second youngest.
Although we have a lot of information on the children, I would be interested in additional information on them also.
I would also like additional information on your relative Mary Jenkins as she would be my GGGGrandmother and I have zero info on her now.I may be a distant cousin to you.
Some of my cousins have traced the John Hoge line back into Scotland.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. If there are costs involved to search or copy or send, I would be happy to defray costs.
