Hi Pamela,
I think you could accomplish what you are trying to do in Family Tree Maker by creating a new fact in Family Tree Maker. Go to the person tab and click the little blue cross (upper right) this will allow you to create a new fact you could make individual ones for each Quaker date you will be entering for your different ancestors. When you create a fact for one person it will be available for all individuals. Then on the family tab (lower right) there is a customize view option you can add your new facts to the portion you see on the right hand side of the family view sheet and this will allow you to easily add or see your Quaker facts on this family sheet. For instance you could add fact: MM date, IOM1 (Intention of marriage), MAM (Marriage anounced at meeting date) If this doesn't make sense let me know and I can send you screen shots to your email for how to do this.
