Quakers were in general, not popular in slave-holding Virginia. After the Northwest Ordinance in 1787, droves of Virginia Quakers went to Ohio. Their certificates of removal were held by Redstone Monthly Meeting in Fayette Co., PA.
Maybe this would be a lead on where to look for Thomas & Rebecca Baker Pugh before 1833. Thanks for your help !!
