Ronda, this might just further muddy the waters but there was a John Moon(e) who arrived on the Bristol Merchant in 12th month 1682/83. He was apparently a first purchaser of 500 acres. Could this be the Moon ancestor your relative found? He apparently had a son John to whom he sold 100 acres in Bristol twp. in 1685.
