Is there some reason to think the folks in the censu are her family? Remember, the name Newlin was fairly common in Pa, so you can't just assume anyone the right age with the right surname were her parents.
Knowing your documentation for saying Laura was a Quaker would go a long way to helping me know where to search for her, and her family, so if you'd include that it would be very helpful.
May I assume you've gotten death certificates for her children? Those will give mother's maiden name and place of birth, which would be a big help. Also, their obits would probably contain the same family info....in the newspapers of wherever it was they were living at the time of her death.
