Hi Mary,

I am interested to know more about Mary Price Haines Cookson and her first husband, Daniel Haines, who you mentioned in your note regarding her second husband, Samuel Cookson.

I have been researching my family tree on the Haines side back to Isaac Haines (b. 1785 - d. 1850) and his wife, Elizabeth (last name unknown), who came to Hampshire Co., VA (now WV), but have not been able to go any further back.
Based on some family oral history and strong circumstantial evidence,I strongly believe Isaac came from Quaker roots before settling in VA, and so the more I can find out about Mary and Daniel Haines' children you mentioned in your note, could potentially provide another piece to the puzzle for me.

Where might I find further information about Mary Price and Daniel Haines, or would you be able to give me any further information from any notes you may have on them?

I sure do appreciate your time, any information you can give me, and I thank you so much for a quick response!

~Cindy (kylia_@hotmail.com)
