I am having a hard time with this research of my Quaker family. I keep finding contradicting information. I have a Wallace Jones b 1773 in Newberry SC son of Wallace Jones and Elizabeth Fritz. . Nov 29 1794 in Saluda SC He married Rachael Patty b 1774 Newberry SC or Wrightsboro Ga. . She was the daughter of James Patty & Margaret Mote. I thought Rachael Patty was disowned by the Quakers for marrying out of faith. When Rachael died in Miami County Ohio 1828 Wallace Jones married Ruth Hollingsworth and then he became a Quaker. This information is from the "Writings of Luke Smith Mote". Then I find writings in the "Quakers in the SC Back Country" that Rachael remained Quaker and Wallace joined her. The family lived in Miami Ohio with the Quakers. . Where can I find online Quaker records from Wrightsboro Ga, Newberry SC and Miami County Ohio. I am finding Wallis and Wallace Jones in the same locations and dont know if they are the same person. This Jones ancestry has me at my wits end trying to piece it together .I would apprecaite hearing from anyone with knowledge of this line or knowledge of where to obtain Quaker information in these locations. Thank you for your time.
