Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I know nothing about doing Irish research, either....but, have you posed your questions on the Ireland portion of genforum? How about joining the Ireland gen list on rootsweb? Would a death certificate be possible for Elizabeth? I'm including a URL for a listing for Irish research that I have on my county site....I can't vouch for them as my folks left Ireland in the 1600s, but hopefully you'll find something you can use.

Good luck.
