I'm afraid that looking for one Quaker named Evans, in a 100 year period is akin to looking for a needle in not one, but 3 or 4 haystacks. Evans is an extremely common surname in the area of Phil/Chester/Del/Lanc Cos, because of the large number of Quaker Welsh who emigrated to the area....it's far more common than Smith and Jones put together. The index of THE HISTORY OF CHESTER COUNTY, has, for instance, upwards of 200 people named Evans. It would be hard enough if you knew the given name, but with just the surname, Evans, impossible, I'd think.
