My friend did the lookup, but it was not helpful....The microfilm is of Cope's work of transcribing data from various meetings but he only lists the bride and groom information from marriage certificates and does not include guest lists. I find on page 358 in Records of Newgarden Monthly Meeting: John Baels (sic), son of John of Nottingham married Sarah Bowater 9 14 1711 at Chester Monthly Meeting; Sarah Bowater, dau of Thomas of Chester Creek married John Baels (sic) 9 14 1711 at Chester MM. On page 388 New Garden MM Cope lists John Beals Jr and Sarah children: Sarah born 5 29 1713; John b 2 17 1717 and Thomas b 1 14 1719-20.
As I'm sure you know, people aren't listed as family members on a wedding certificate, but the placement of the names of the witnesses is important, as family sign in a certain place and others elsewhere. So, I think it'll be necessary for you to see the original certificate to discover what you wish to know.....you might want to check with Swarthmore College...they have many of the original Quaker meeting records. Unfortunately, to get copies, etc, you'll have to hire a local researcher, as Swarthmore doesn't do this....sorry.
