Thanks. I'm not familiar with that book, so will check it out. I've seen one about Taber Ashton that suggests Thomas may come from Rev James Ashton, but I doubted that since you never see the name James in the family line.
I don't think this is my line anyway, unless he happens to be a brother of my Joseph, however, I've collected so much info on PA Ashtons, I'm starting to be obsessive! :)
