Hi Sharon,

In the book, Ancestry of Clarence V. Roberts & Frances A. Walton Roberts, 1940 (on line at Heritage Quest) it has a section on Thomas Ashton of Bucks County, PA and at the beginning of the sketch it states ( In a sketch prepared by the late Alfred R. Justice, the ancestry of this family is carried back for several generations beyond Thomas of Bucks County, but without stating any authority. See the Alfred R. Justice Collection, Genealogical Society of Pennslvania.) Even if there are no sources for the information it might prove to be of help if you can find this reference by Alfred Justice.
