I've recently been told that there's an "old family story" that one of my Quail/Quayle ancestors
was the sole survivor of a shipwreck in the early part of the 19th century.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? It sounds pretty far-fetched to me, but I suppose
stranger things have happened...
