All the villages of Seddlescombe, Northiam, Wittersham and Whatlington are close to each other, and this is the area in which our ancestors lived. I have 3 william Quaifes on my tree, but none of them correspond with the one you are looking for. I live in Sussex myself, having recently moved here from Hampshire.Their is a website listing all the Quaife gravestones. We might find him there. I have not got any of Walter' siblings on my tree. I know quite a lot of people who have Quaifes on their trees, I will try to find out what I can for you, someone may have William. Kind Regards, Angela.
