Dear Debbie,

I am the author of "The John Pyne Family in America". A copy is available through your local Family History Center - it may answer many of your questions. The first Pyne's came here from Ireland and England. A John Pyne tp Charleston, SC in 1808, and a Thomas Pyne to NY/NJ in 1828. Others of the name came to MA. Good luck - God bless!
