My grandmother was a Phelan. Her parents were Patrick "Patsey" Phelan and Bridget Pyne.Patrick Phelan was born Oct. 18, 1865 in County Loais, Ireland and was the son of Patrick Phelan and Johanna Regna(spelling on marriage license/Rigney(spelling on St. Mary's Cemetery, bloomington, Illinois records).Patrick died at St. Joseph's Hospital, bloomington, Illinois in 1954 and also buried at St. Mary's cemetery. He married Bridget Pyne.Bridget was born Oct. 8, 1868 at Leary's Cross, county Cork, Ireland and died at the nursing home in LeRoy, Illinois in 1961 and is buried at St. Mary's cemetery in Bloomington, Illinois.Bridget was the daughter of John Pyne and Catherine "Kate" Sweeney.I have some information on Bridget Pyne's parents and grandparents if this is your line.Related families include: Toohill, Magrath, Griffin, burke, Mahoney, O'keeffe, Snyder, Hinshaw.... Let me know if I can help you any further..
Sincerely, Teresa Toohill-Runyon.
