My grandfather is Rupert James Kendrick Pyne. He would have been born around 1925. I recall stories of an organist in the family. He doesn't talk about family much. I think his father committed suicide while my grandfather was young and his sister died.
I also vaguely recall a family member working at a border crossing (US/Canada). Oh I should mention these are Canadian Pynes now living in Victoria BC.
If you had more specifics I could run them by him.
