My great-grandmother, Ada Wynne Metcalf was married to Frank F. Metcalf in McConnelsville,OH, in the mid-1880s. Ada's mother was Amanda Pyle and and we have been told that her husband was Thomas Wynne. My father was Wynne Metcalf Silbernagel. I have found several Ada WINNs, but cannot find any information about the marriage of her mother to Thomas WYNNE. Do any of you have any information about an Amanda Pyle married to Thomas WYNNE? I have little information except that everyone mentioned lived in Morgan County, McConnelslville, Ohio, beginning about 1800. Ada died in the late 1930s or early 1940s. She worked at the Ohio School for the Deaf in Columbus, Ohio, she left McConnelsville. I have no pictures or articles about Thomas Wynne, so I'm thinking that he might have died at an early age, but I have no ideas about this. I would be very grateful for any information you have.
