I am trying to establish a link between the THOMAS C. PILE/PYLE and CEDRON PILE/PYLE, who were in Rhea Co., TN in 1832. These two men were witnesses on a Deed of Conveyance for ALLEN HOLLAND & POLLY HOLLAND to WILLIAM N. MERRITT. From other Rhea Co.legal documents, it looks like the Holland's, Merritts and Pyles were somehow related.
Does anyone have any information about this Thomas C. Pile and his relation to the other families and Cedron Pile?
