I would very much appreciate any help you can give me with the Pyle/Anglin/DeGraffenried line of my family. I'm not sure of my information.
My paternal grandmother was Emma Iola Pyle, the daughter of
William Thomas Pyle b. 6-7-1867 Marion Co. Ala., son of
Samuel Moter Pyle b 2-1847 Polk Co.,MO. who was married to Mary Jane Elam b.4-24-1845 Rutherford Co.,MO., he was the son of Samuel Gove Pyle 11-28-1821 Hopkinville, KY. who I think was married to Catherine G.N. Anglin or maybe Jenneta Needham??b. 921-1825 Dyer or Trigg Co. KY. Her parents were
Joseph Anglin and Lucy DeGraffenfied who were married in VA. I think. Lucy's parents were Charles(or maybe the first DeGraffenried born in America, Tscharner, and Lucy Thaxton Pontotach Co., Miss.. Lucy Thaxton's father was J. W. Thaxton N.C. The relative who got me this far along had not done much research on these lines so we're unsure about it. I'm very interested and would greatly appreciate any information you can give me.
