Thank you for the information, Bonnie. I am interested in anything you have on James Pyeatt, who married Catherine Finley. I am also interested in Martha Carnahan. After her first husband, John Pyeatt (son on Jacob and Margaret Finley Pyeatt, died, Martha Carnahan married Andrew Finley Pyeatt, double cousin to 1st husband John, and son of James and Catherine Finley Pyeatt. Jacob and James were brothers. Margaret and Catherine were sisters. Hence John and Andrew Finley Pyeatt were double cousins.

I am a descendent of Andrew Finley and Martha Carnahan Pyeatt as follows:

1. Andrew Finley and Martha Carnahan Pyeatt

2. John Henry (1829/32 - 1889) and Sara Ann Maxwell Pyeatt.

3. William Henry (1852 - 1941)and Johnnie Gatewood Pyeatt.

4. John Dudley (1889 - 1983) and Eula Fewell Pyeatt

5. Mary Lou Pyeatt (1914 - 1988) married Emitt Daniel

6. I am Emitt Leon Daniel

I have posted some photos of the William "Billy" Henry Pyeatt Family on my FamilyTree home page. One of the photos, dated approximately 1887 includes John Henry Pyeatt (at least that is my best guess).

Leon Daniel
