Thanks, Lucy Rambo...I've spent the last four months getting away from the heat in Austin and didn't check all my e-mail. Mary Pye's daughter Mary Jane m. Thomas R. Williams 1842, they lived in/around Lafayette Co. MS until ca. 1880 and show up in Erath Co. Texas ca. 1882.
I thought the 1880 census Index from Salt Lake was going to find them for me in that census( and its valuable info)..no luck! I couldn't believe it. Is there anything in your Pye research indicating something about Mary Jane and Thomas?
How far back can you go now in the Pye history?
