Hi! My name is Nina W. Nethery and my maternal great-great grandmother was Sarah (Sally) PYATT Haney. Her parents were James PYATT and Jane DAVIS Pyatt. He was the second child of Joseph Pyatt Sr. and Sarah Jane Still. My great- grandmother,a daughter of Sarah Pyatt Haney was Jane Haney Holland.

The main reason that I have posted is to inform those who may not know that you are probably eligible to belong to the CLAN GRAHAM. In 1606 or thereabouts, some of the GRAHAM families who lived in the borderlands between Scotland and England were exiled to Ireland. My husband's Graham ancestors took the name of Nethery after their residence, NETHERBY HALL. The "b" was silent in the old Irish lanquage. Information from a GRAHAM genealogist states that the name of PYATT was also an assumed name for some of the Grahams that were exiles in Ireland. One branch of these people petitioned the government later to return to their original name and were granted permission in 1707 to do so. Our ancestors must have already emigrated to the Colonies and did not change their name back to GRAHAM. If anyone is interested in getting this info, send me an email. I don't receive on microsoft just regular e-mail.
