Another brother was William Pyatt b:1794 m:10/16/1822 to Cynthia Fox Burke County, NC.
Benjamin and Polly had 3 known children from information contained in Benjami's will and the family bible.
1. Joseph D. Pyatt b:5/17/1814, Burke Co, NC, m:8/22/1843 in Knox Cn,TN to Eliza Ellen Smith b:1827. Joseph d:1/11/1962 in the Civil War.
2. John Harvey Pyatt b:7/12/1821, m: 2/14/1841 Knox Co, TN to Cassia? Louise Smith, d:7/10/1844. their son was Joseph L.(leander) Pyatt, b: 11/26/1841.
3. Elizabeth Matilda Pyatt b: 11/4/1823, m: 2/20/1845 in Knox Co, TN to Solomon Garrison, she d: 1/3/1907.
Joseph D. Pyatt would be my Great Grandfather. My Grandfather wat Robert Alexander Pyatt b 9/8/1846, m1/16/1874 to Jennie Fleming O'Dell, d1912 in Alfalfa, OK.
