I'm glad to hear from someone on this line. Whatever you can share on the PUTT line might be very helpful, especially if you show some of the other surnames that are in my line. It is not a direct descendancy line for me ...just a sideline ...but I have found that these sidelines sometimes become important and helpful for leading me new info on my direct lines.

My COOPER line that came to eastern AR about 1845 came from the Spartanburg District in SC, along the NC border. My ANDREWS / ANDERS and HOUSE line came from Lincoln Co GA along the Savannah River in an area that was in Wilkes County Georgia. PULLIN / PULLEN, WILLIS, GILL and more are allied lines with the ANDREWS.

In ARkansas, a sideline of my COOPER line ...Lee Andrew MALOY married Dollie PUTT, and it is MALOY / MOLLOY (various spellings) line that is a curiosity to me, in that I have found no COOPER marriages to a MALOY and yet 2 MAlOY nephews were in the 1880 Brinkley, Monroe Co AR household of my gg grandparents Dillard L. COOPER and Parthenia.

That COOPER household has a household of kids from their previous marriages (the wife Parthenia was born ANDREWS / ANDERS, mar HOUSE, then HOLMAN, then COOPER ...of course those other marriage kids are being shown as COOPER which isn't helping me,lol, but some are probably COOPERs from the only other marriage I find for Dillard COOPER to a HELMS, some HOLLEMAN / HOLMAN)...

...but it is the MALOY / MOLLOY nephews have me wondering.

I know that the Calvin DICKERSON nephew in that 1880 household was a son of Dillard L. COOPER's sister Cordelia who was married #1 to an Unknown DICKERSON and then to a Joseph FRUIN / FRUEN..and she had moved to Yell Co AR by then.

I 'think' the MALOY boys, Dan and John, are son of a Hugh MALOY and wife Elizabeth that are on the 1860 and 1870 census nearby in Monroe Co AR area...and in order for MALOYs to be nephews, then Elizabeth has to be a COOPER ...(or maybe a LINDSEY / LINDSAY, the maiden name of Dillard L. COOPER's mother Delphia /Delphy...

Is this confusing enough, lol??

Hope to hear from you ...and feel free to contact me at my email address, audstan@chartertn.net
