I doubt you'd find much online concerning old issues of The Canadian Horticulturist. Here is a link to the catalog record for the copies I use in Cornell's Library:

From what I can tell, at least 32 libraries in the USA and Canada have some of this periodical.

I believe you can request copy services from the Cornell Library for a fee:
