In the Endecott-Dodge family, we have records in several places that Mary Endecott, granddaughter of Gov. John Endecott, married Samuel Putnam, brother of Gen. Israel Putnam. Yet, looking over the Putnam Genealogy page, I saw only a reference to the Leach family, none to the Endecotts. Is this simply an oversight or has there been an error made? Not only have two families verified this link, but a great aunt did research through the DAR to verify this. I would love to know their descendents and if any are still in New England.
