Nathan W Putnam & Ellen Landy's kids

I recently started looking into my family history and I've encountered a mystery that I was hoping one of you could help me solve. Here is the information I have gathered from [very limited] family history and recent research:

My grandmother was Ethel May Dodd and her mother was Carolyn Adela Putnam born to Nathan W Putnam and his first wife Ellen Landy in 1885. She had a sister named Elizabeth M. Putnam born in 1886. Her father went on to marry Liberty, had more children and raised Elizabeth. Carolyn was raised by his sister Jennie May Putnam Crafts.

My mother tells me that while she heard of Liberty and can find family records of her there is no record of Elizabeth. So far I can not find her after 1910 when she was 24 and living with Liberty who was by then widowed.

Can you tell me what happened to Elizabeth? Were there more children born to Ellen and Nathan? Do you have any record of a Josephine?

My mother has pictures of a young "Carrie" and her baby sister Josephine but I have found no record of her. I have family records that include Josephine Griswold and her daughter Iris and my mother knew she was always referred to as "Aunt Jo" so I can only assume this is her, but have not made a solid connection.

Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.
Sincerely,
Stacey Harrell
