JW Putnam is in Wayne Stark, IA in 1860 indicates b.1831 in NY(Page 56, #371) he is living with a couple named Rodgers, his wife Mary and two children Lovinia, and Ernest age 2 born in IA.
Ernest is my gg grandfather.
John W. Putnam is in Tippecanoe, Marshal, IA in 1870 with wife and kids, names and birthplaces/dates match.
James W. Putnam is in Archer Texas in 1880. Birthdates and locations match but the names of the family members have changed. There is a 22 year old Edward who I'm thinking is really Ernest. and family memebers match. He is living with his daughter Rosa's family
John W. Putman (Remains Putman) is in Alvord Wise Texas in 1900. They are living with their daughter Rosa's family. Birthdates and locations match.
Ernest Putman son of JW Putman is in Eldorado Jackson Oklahoma with second wife and children in 1910...including my g grandfather Jack Alton Putman.
Would love to figure out what happened before 1860.
