An eloquent post!
I too share the Pennsylvania German heritage in Vaughan Township, York Ontario.
John Peter Frank 1760-1855 was my G3 GF on Mom's side of the family. His son John Adam Frank, 1798-1883, and Peter Frank 1840ish- 1913, his son, farmed in Vaughan throughout the 1800s.
There's was the first house in Vellore I am told.
