I have Evan Sherrill enlisting 2-18-1864, at St. Louis, MO, in Battery H, 1st Regiment, Missouri Light Artillery. He saw service at Kennesaw Mountain, Georgia, and was honorably discharged at St. Louis, MO, 6-16-1865. He moved to Edmond, KS, 1875, and spent the last years of his life in the National Military Home, Leavenworth, KS, where he died 9-10-1915.
