I have just discovered 2 Pursley males, heretofore unknown to me.
surveyed paper signed by George Washington (yes the G.W.)
dated 20 March 1752.
names land surveyed by George Washington for Daniel Osborne. Description states land owned by Daniel Pursley on upper side. This land is beside the Potomack River, would have to look up county. Then down at bottom there are 4 signatures:
John Lonem???.....c.c.
Cornelius Williams...C.C.
Peter Pursley.....cant read it
GWashington
This is found in the Hume of Virginia history.
