Please!!!!!!! For me!!!!! I am unable to locate a marriage record of David JonatHan PURSLEY and wife SARAH (last name unknown). She was born 1849-50 in Tennessee. He born in Ark in 1850-51. He moved to Navarro County, TX with his parents James and Elizabeth in 1866. David and Sarah are found on the Navarro COunty, TX 1870 census with my grandfather William E who was under a year in age. He ws born April 1870 in Texas. SARAH reported her place of birth as Tennessee (yep, like 1/2 of the Texans. She died in February 1875. No other know children. David remarries in November of that year and has several children. If I were guessing I would place their marriage (if there was one) to be in the summer of 1869.
I have personally checked the marriage records in Navarro. And, I have checked as many other county books as I can find. NO MARRIAGE RECORD...This is really bugging me. Any suggestions! Help if you can.
