More Southern genealogy, which is about the most interesting hobby one can take up. Your grandmother, Nealie Baucom, was the daughter of Hiram Thomas Baucom, 2/5/1848-5/5/1917, and his 2nd wife, Laura Ella Allen, 11/29/1862-12/31/1937. Hiram was 40 and Ella was 26 when they married on 12/11/1889. Hiram was the son of Henry Millard Baucom, 2/7/1807- 5/9/1891, and Delaney Ann Austin, 9/29/1806-10/15/1869. Delaney was the daughter of James Allen Austin and Frances "Fanny" Snipes. James Allen Austin, born in Ireland, was the father of Deberry Austin, who married Permillia "Milly" Hagler. Deberry and Milly are the parents of Frances Austin, grandmother of Julius. Milly Hagler is the granddaughter of Johannes Hagler by his 2nd wife, Barbara. It seems that we after all, all related one way or another.
